I went and checked them out and my mothers in there now. Every time I've been up there it's been great. They do a really good job. The food is good, the facility is good, and the room that my mother got is good. It's in a nice location. The people up there all seem to have smiles on their faces. They come in and take care of my mom when she wants. We evaluated several different places and they were pretty much one most expensive. It's on the high end of affordability for us but it's a really good place.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Christine Chisholm and Kathy Daniels. They went out of their way to assist me in every aspect of coordinating the possible move of my mother to their beautiful facility. I am forever grateful for there kindness, professionalism, understanding and all the help they gave me. My cousin is also living in this facility and he and his wife feel the same way. Very caring staff with a hands on attitude with all the residents living there. Thank you, thank you.

Staff is very informative and helpful...The place is lovely. We chose this one because the price was right and the let you do a two week trial stay.

Bingo...... This was absolutely the best that I visited so far. They even had a bus line out front. The Community Relations and Marketing Director was such fun. She also invited me to lunch in the fantastic dining room that was simply delicious. I thought I was in a restrauant with carts of salads, iced drinks, and desserts coming by. Love the apartments, activities and especially the positive energy from everyone. Great Day.

Every staff member was friendly and upbeat. The focus seemed to be on the senior to keep them safe (lifeline), comfortable (assigned caregiver) and healthy (meals, snacks and activities). Liked the idea that mom would not have to move if her level of care had to increase. Owners will even bring in Hospice if necessary. Rooms were light and airy. Residents seemed very comfortable in their surroundings. Preparations were under way for family night, where families joined the residents for dinner.

What a wonderful facility!!The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.This is a perfect fit for our mother.5 stars!!

Very nice place.

This location is where myself and my brother both really liked. The tour was great. The people were very nice as soon as you stepped in the door. And the area where my dad would be staying is some place where I could see him in. I felt very that he would do very well in this facility. We will be contacting them when the time comes for his placement in a facility.

A very good community. They didn't feel they would have been able to care for my loved one.

I am very happy here overall with the entire residence and activities as well as the location.

I recently went to Magnolia Court in Vacaville, CA looking for a place for my Mom. I really didn’t know what to expect or what to look for ... but I knew I, and my mom, needed help. When first entering the building, (with hesitation) i felt it was welcoming, very clean, I heard soft music in the background, which was soothing to my ear, and the reception staff was very warm. Many residents were going through the area and all looked calm. I chuckled to myself and thought,,,,what were you expecting? A woman came out to meet me and, I must say, she had such a sweet demeanor that I truly felt ‘ok’ to be there. Well, [name removed] , soon became a true light of inspiration for me. She and the other staff members were informative, reassuring, caring, patient and so very helpful to me. The family atmosphere and professionalism at Magnolia Court embraces you right away. My family and I were guests several times in their dining hall; and I must say .... they also provide very tasty meals ?? I felt their many activities and social opportunities are often and felt well-planned. My thanks to [name removed] for her loving spirit and to the entire staff for treating us with caring hands and always a smile. I viewed this community and had a meal and tour approximately 1 year prior to actually moving in. I do not regret my choice. The staff go out of their way (my opinion) to help you move in and get organized and acquainted with other staff members and residents. There is a monthly welcome for new residents and the activity schedule provides something for everyone-never a dull moment.

It was a great place to put our parents. They really liked it also.

It was a complicated process trying to find an assisted living facility for my father, even with the assist of A Place For Mom. It became clear that getting a honest out of pocket cost for each place was daunting because it was like comparing apples to oranges. And many facilities felt like I was interfacing with a used car sales person, each company had different methods of charges, others would only give you the base price with little insight into specific services. But [Removed] seemed honest, she was upfront on cost and made the process much easier to understand. She even provided insight into Brookdale pricing verse industry competitors without naming companies. Then it was easier to categorize pricing strategy with others, and compare with Brookdale. [Removed] made it clear what our upfront and monthly costs would be. The other important factors like cleanliness, friendliness of staff, type of care available and activities were much easier to compare without industry knowledge. So dad has been with Brookdale Bakersfield for 2 months, and he likes it there. I think my brother and I feel like we made the right choice.

I liked the tour we took of this community. The people we met were nice and very informative. The community was clean and the menu looked good.

After viewing all the Assisted Living facilities in Vacaville, we chose Brookdale at 1111 Ulatis Drive as the best option, both for value and amenities. The facility has a good feel to it, and the staff have been friendly and helpful. The dining center is set up very nicely, however I would rate the food as a 7 out of 1-10. My only complaint is that their home office billing department does not seem to coordinate well with this branch facility, so none of our billing statements so far have been correct.

Weatherly Inn in Medford, OR, has been a very good experience for my mom and our family. The staff is very kind, helpful, and upbeat. Her apartment is spacious and comfortable. The entire place is beautifully decorated and landscaped. There are many interesting activities for the residents. Families are welcome to visit. The food is delicious, with many good choices. Her only complaint is that sometimes the wait for meals to be served is 30-45 minutes. She appreciates the staff and how hard they work, so maybe there has been a reason why service at some meal times is slow and occasionally seems disorganized.

This is a really great place to live! I came in to this establishment with a broken ankle and the staff here are really kind and understanding, which I found to be very relaxing. The food was very tasty and I could either stay in my room when my ankle hurting and they would bring it up to me. When I could stand the pain I would go on out and talk to the other residents, which is a great learning experience. To sum it all up you really can't beat the price, food and the staff make it very nice, affordable place to live!
