Hopeful, but a little disappointed.

Seems like a really great concept, promises were great. Certainly needs work though at this particular facility. One tech on 2 of the facilities left clients alone without supervision, on 2 occasions I am aware of. I suspect that had something to do with the fact that the tech's understanding of English was limited. Originally told my loved one would be supervised on out door smoking trips, shortly turned into someone would be watching her to totally unsupervised because no one could say what happened when she fell out doors except one of the clients whom happened to see her fall. Facility was clean, but during weekend care, my findings as well as weekday staff, concerning the care of my loved one, was unsanitary. Didn't spend too much time there though, since my loved one went down hill quickly after her fall. All of these concerns were addressed, some were not received well. Some staff members were quite capable and a blessing. Some staffing needs to be looked at.

This community is too far away. K likes to go to church with us. We attended First Baptist Richardson so it would be a long drive to pick her up and go back to church especially on busy mornings when we have to get their early for a special reason.

Terrible Place

If you love the person you are needed a good place for DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!! The staff is rude and definitely do not trust [name removed] the owner, he quoted me one price and then said there would be an additional [removed] a month for assistance eating and that I had to buy a leather recliner for my mother or they would leave her in bed all day. This place is terrible I moved my mother after 2 days and [name removed] refused to refund my deposit and kept most of the money. There are much better places!

The owner is difficult to work with. He has raised the rent substantially after only 8 months. He is incredibly rude to tenants when they pose concerns. 10/10 times would not recommend this place to anyone. The food is terrible.

They advertise memory care

They are not licensed for memory care and the owner only cares about the money. If you care for your family, please do NOT put your loved ones there. The caregivers can only advocate so much, owner is a very sneaky person. He doesn’t staff the homes 24/7. Caregivers sleep overnight.

Would not recommend

We did not have a good experience here. We ended up moving our loved one out of here and I would not recommend them to others who are looking. Our loved one needed additional care, it could have been provided but was not.

Horrific and Unforgiving

If you want a place that ads charges to the contract along with horrible care for your loved one this is the place for you. The owner is only in it for the money. Horrible inexperienced caregivers are hired that do not care to do anything other than a few tasks a day. Should a loved become temporarily ill, they do not take necessary steps short of thinking how to remove and fill the space as quickly as possible. After much time with another Residential Care Facility, there are others out there that provide excellent service. Do your research!

Beware of Four Season, do not waste your money.

Don't waste your money, don't go there. The staff did not have the experience it handle emergencies. The owner's wife was very inexperienced and did not know how to manage medication. They mishandled my mom's care and they put her in psychiatric care without my permission or consent.

GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!

We recently moved my mom to another residential care home. We loved the caregiver, however, the owner, [Removed], is someone to be aware of. This past December ([Removed]) he tried to raise my mother’s rent by $800. When I explained there was no way we could afford the increase, his reply was, “I could get $4,000.00 if I wanted to.” Back when I first moved my mom to one of his homes ([Removed]), there was a verbal agreement that the price would never increase. I took them at their word. When I inquired of their verbal agreement, the answer I received was, “We didn’t know what we were doing back then.” MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!

Horrible Experience

4 Seasons Senior Living, Lewisville, Carrollton, Coppell, et al We have had a horrible experience with these people, and ended up not moving into the property located in Carrollton. We toured the Gilespie property around [date removed]. They pressured us for a deposit, and told us only $1500 if we agreed in 24 hours. Around [date removed] we sent them the ACH forms for the now increased deposit of $2000. We signed the contract on [date removed] for the Gilespie property which is located in a nice, safe neighborhood about 4 miles from our home for $3800 a month. For three weeks we all planned for the move in date of Friday [date removed]. We had the hospital bed, wheelchair delivery, and wheelchair transport van reserved for that date. Just before noon on Thursday [date removed] the property coordinator ([name removed]) began changing the entire agreement. They said that our 86 year old mother located in Arkansas had tremendously deteriorated from the previous hospital report 2 weeks prior, which was a total fabrication. They said the manager (owner [name removed]) needed us to go to a home 12 miles away, in a sketchy neighborhood, and the price would be much higher. We could not move in Friday, we needed to meet at their offices that day. On Thursday afternoon my daughter had just had 4 wisdom teeth extracted, and instead of caring for her, I was forced to look at these houses in Lewsiville. I drove by the 2 houses, looked inside one of them, and did not want to move forward. I felt betrayed. I was furious, and I drove straight to their corporate office around 4:30. I met with [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed]. They pretty much told me my mom was way worse than the first report, and she could not be cared for at the nice place that we had a contract for. They insisted that the price needs to be higher than $3800 a month that I signed for, and could not be specific on the new amount or when it would go into effect. I told them that my wife would be very upset, and that I was now feeling very uncomfortable. Their tone was very "parent-child" and condescending, and I do not do well with that. I asked for a refund and they refused. I wrote them and again asked for a refund due to the breech of contract on their part, refusing to honor the original property, at the original price. This is unethical. The deadline that I gave the owners has come and gone for

Have everything put in writing!!

This is to let anyone know that if you are considering 4 Season's Senior Living to get what they say in writing. I placed my 84 year old mother with them in April 2016. They gave me a rate which was great and fit my mother's income. They made a verbal promise (I should have had them put it in writing--a learning experience for me) that the price would never increase. Everything ran smoothly until December 28, 2017 when I was requested by the owner [name removed] to meet with him. I was informed at the meeting that they wanted to increase my mother's rent $800 per month. I explained that she could not meet that financially as it would take her entire income. They said they wanted to work with the families and were willing to come down to $3100. I asked what happened to the verbal agreement that the price would never increase. The response I got was that they didn't know (back in 2016) what they were doing. Then I was told by [name removed] that he could get $4,000 if he really wanted to. Needless to say, I started looking immediately for another home for my mom. Also, [name removed] also stated that the increase in payment would take effect immediately and the new amount would be due January 1, 2018. Because I had already paid her original rent, I paid the extra because I felt like I had no choice. Come to find out, in the State of Texas [name removed] was suppose to give a minimum of 30 days written notice of an increase in rent (this is to allow a resident time to either pay the new rent or time to look for another place to live). Needless to say, he did not do so. I asked him to return the additional amount of payment because I was moving my mom to another home. He has never responded to my request.
