Lovely place to live
He passed away a few weeks ago. Residences was a wonderful place. All staff were very kind, nice and thoughtful. Very giving. Nursing staff available 24 hours/ podiatry, hair salon, physician and nurse practitioner make routine rounds, food is good, weekly housekeeping/ laundry.

Nice Place
It`s a Nice Place, But They need to hire more people to work there, I can`t tell you how many Times, I`ve tried to reach my Dad and no one was there to answer the phone. Perhaps they need to pay the workers there more money.

While Residences at Deer Creek does offer residents an optional landline phone service to their apartment homes, many residents choose to use their own personal cell phone in lieu of a landline service package. When residents opt to use their own cell phones, they may not always answer it or be available for calls when they are participating in activities, enjoying a meal in our restaurant, or socializing with friends.

On the most important/basic levels, Deer Creek took solid care of my Mom while she was there. The facility was clean and her health and welfare were consistently monitored. Where they fell short was in some of the attitude of staff and administration. The ones that really cared certainly stood out, but there were others, from nurses to front desk employees to administration (particularly one member of the Financial Department), who were very subpar.

Would highly recommend, good place for loved ones
We were under a time crunch to get our loved one moved out of a rehab facility to an assisted living community and the director here just went out of her way as far as we are concerned to help make that process easier. She was spectacular with her guidance. The staff members get higher than 5 stars, they are very friendly. Our loved one has had no complaints about the meals. Our loved one does not really participate in the activities, but when we visit we do see other residents participating in the activities and they look pretty good.

A great place for your loved one
I have only been able to see the inside of the community on the initial tour, but everything was very clean. The staff members are the best, and the meals they serve are the best. Our loved one really enjoys going to their movie nights.

Well Cared for & Respected
Our Mom has been a Resident in Memory Care for 2 plus years now. Our family is very happy with the care, concern & respect that has been shown to our Mother and us as family members. Even during this past year during the pandemic they took extra time to make sure we were all informed of daily activities and the health status of residents and staff. This was very comforting to us as "outsiders" were not allowed to visit for some time. I would recommend RDC to all of my friends in regards to the care of their elderly parents. Very Satisfied!

I have been trying to reach the director or whoever is in charge of housekeeping for the last three days, but when I call they are never there, do they not work after 12 p.m.????? My mother calls me and tells me her room and garbage have not been done in over a week, she said no one is there. she has staff coming in her room, and with this horrific virus killing people, my mom can't even get her room clean or garbage taken out? the staff tells her half of the housekeepers quit because of their boss. what is going on and how do I know your building is clean if her room isn't. If I could move her right now I would. I WILL keep calling! and will expect to talk to the person that is in charge of housekeeping.

Our housekeeping team has been spread throughout the building working diligently to maintain our strict cleaning protocols for the safety of all our residents. I can assure you the entire housekeeping team is intact, although some schedule modifications have been implemented.
While we regularly meet with our residents for feedback, immediately after you posted your concern, we personally spoke with each resident to assure that their needs are being met. Ideally, resident trash is removed daily and apartments are cleaned weekly. However, if we made the mistake of missing an apartment’s trash removal, we are deeply sorry and will right it promptly. Being informed of these situations helps up to improve upon our processes.

Get rid of Julie (manager). waste of money
while visiting, halls and hand rails look clean, rooms were clean, all the while i noticed a manager or one who just walks around and does nothing but berate these women who are doing the cleaning. over heard her name was [name removed] and all she did was follow this woman and tell her what to do not doing anything herself. My relative really likes this new woman and wants to request her personably.

Top notch care facility no more.
Family member has been at Deer Creek for several years. Facility has frequent employee turnover. No continuity. Outside the residents rooms in common areas there is order and cleanliness. Residents rooms how ever, are very different. Unclean, disorderly and smelled is what I witnessed. No care to personal belongings. Items thrown on floor of closet. Two miss matched blinds cover window. One doesn’t even work. I wonder, are they ever even opened to let the light of day in. If this facility is failing at this, the easy stuff, then what level of care are the residents receiving. This was top a top notch care facility but no more.
