Mom and I both thought the facility was beautiful. Her apartment was a one bedroom-small but we'll laid out-just right for her. She thoroughly enjoyed the dining room-so nice and always very good meals. The staff was very helpful and kind. A wonderful place for an independent senior.

We toured this facility and it was nice. Definitely city living. It's downtown and the room they had available was on the 10th floor. Location wasn't what we were looking for. The rooms were nice, it was clean, and everyone was friendly. Just not the best fit for my loved one. Great option for city living, if that's what you're looking for. It wasn't for us, so we kept looking.

Tour of Park Central
I toured Park Central Retirement Community and the community was nice, with very nice people who showed me around. We chose another community because Park Central does not accommodate or accept those who smoke. Once we were told that, we didn't feel the need to look further into their community.

Not the right fit
They were willing to help whenever it comes to medical situations. But in the end my loved one ended up having to move out because they said she needed more care than they were able to offer even though they had said they could. The situation was confusing.

Great place to live
This is the perfect place for a senior that just needs a secure and safe place to live. My loved one loves the actives and is actually doing stuff now. They have activities like bible study, game night, pizza night, concerts, sewing groups and more for the residents to do to stay busy and active in the community. She does things at least three to four times a week in the community. The staff are great and on site and if they can not answer the question they find someone who can immediately.

My tour review
We did not feel like this community would fit our loved ones needs. They were a little less and the community was nice but it was a tower and we were not used to that and wanted something different for my loved one.

A Place for Mom has scored Park Central Retirement Community 7.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
