Best place!
I moved in a year ago and I feel so blessed. Office Manager, and Management run the place as it should be. I get my meals cooked for me 3 times a day, weekly housekeeping, and a variety of activities. I feel blessed I found this place when I needed it

The staff clearly cares about the residents and sees them as actual people. You can tell by how the staff and residents interact that there is a mutual love and respect between them. There are plenty of well thought out activities and you can tell that attention to detail is important at capital place

Great food
I come and visit my friend that lives here and have lunch with her for just $5 for a good quality meal. They put a lot of thought into their dining services. They are going through a renovation and things are looking way more clean and modern.

Mom is happier than she's ever been
My mom has lived at Capital Place for right around 6 months. At first she was saying she didn't want to leave her house.
We took a tour and she fell in love with an apartment on the 3rd floor. We had a good lunch and signed up right after. The lease is only for 3 months and then month to month, this eased mom's mind.

A Wonder-Filled Place for Mom
A wonderful place for mom; full of friendships & activities. You will find Artia@holiday Capital place the center hub of all of mom's needs. The staff is friendly and always willing to help you if they can. The residents are all friendly, kind, loving. Maintenance is always willing to do whatever you need done. I know other places charge more for less of a family feeling.

My mom has lived here for years
MY mother has lived at Capital Place and it has changed her life. She worked hard all her life and did not have an opportunity to have much fun.

A great facility
This facility seems very helpful, it's a great facility. The meals are really well prepared. I've shared a few meals here with my loved one. They were all well prepared, large in portion, nutritious, and balanced. The activities are very nice. They have a great variety and always have something going on. Communication with the family seems to be pretty good. Housekeeping is once a week and it's been more than adequate. All of the staff and residents are very helpful here. When we moved my loved one in, she was using a wheelchair to help recover from a procedure. The manager had a walker that she gave to my loved one to help her recovery even further, which was great. I have and will continue to recommend this facility to friends and family.

Wish she could have stayed longer.
My mother only got to spend 6 days in her apartment out of 90, due to hospital and skilled nursing facility stays. She only had one meal in the dining hall, but it was lovely. We had her apartment all fixed up great. We are so disappointed she wasn't able to take advantage of living in such a great place.

A nice community overall. Corporate needs to take a look at food and housekeeping issues.
When my mom first moved in, the chef who was originally there quit. And now the food is awful. So she is barely eating, and is getting by making her own meals in her room. They either need to do something to improve the food, or come up with an a la carte program where you can select between 1, 2, or 3 meals per day. Housekeeping has been sporadic. They've had a hard time keeping staff. The one good one they had didn't stay, and the people who are there now don't do a very good job. It's hit or miss if they come. So I feel like we're not getting the value for what she's paying. Other than that, everything else is fine. The apartment is okay, and they added grab bars where she needed them. They've been pretty responsive with that and other maintenance requests. And the staff as well as the other residents are nice.

My grandpa loves it here
My grandpa chose capital place because the staff was so welcoming when we arrived for the tour. Sales manager was so informative, the housekeepers said hello as we walked by and the residents spoke to us about how much they love living here.
He has been here for a few months now and said he is never leaving.
I’m glad to see if found a place he enjoys living at.

Ok place
No longer there but in my approximate 5 months, did not have a very pleasant experience there.
Director whom ran the place was all about only being ran her way, did not want to make any exceptions.
Food overall was not very good, they had some issues with Kitchen staff and keeping cook in house. When first arrived they had options of Three meals to chose from, but when had left they were down to just one daily option.
Would have to agree to staff when asked generally once a week, if weren't around then they wouldn't clean and do general maintenance unless you had agreed to it. I believe they should have been doing these weekly without asking. When they did do the cleaning though did do a thorough job in our rooms but seemed quite rushed.
Also had continued bad experience with below neighbor as that person was a smoker and also had constant loud music playing, eventually was able to move but took over two months to do so.
The residents for most part were very friendly and have made a few friends from there.
They would make announcements on what the lunches or meals were going to be. Director said upper management is handing out surveys at that time and had asked them not to leave any negative or bad feedback.
